About The Trainer

Ember Leash Dog Training was founded in 2023 by Skylar McClellan, whose passion for dog training grew during his five years in the Behavior & Training Department at Woods Humane Society. Inspired by this experience and seeking more flexibility after the birth of his second daughter, Skylar started his own in-home private dog training business. Now running Ember Leash full-time, he serves clients throughout California's Central Coast, from Cayucos to Nipomo, helping dogs and their families thrive.
