Heritage Square Bark and Learn – A Day of Fun and Learning!
Looking for a training class that feels fun and gives you skills to take with you? At Heritage Square Bark and Learn, we keep things engaging for both ends of the leash. Expect hands-on learning, real-life skills, and a focus on what works—all through positive reinforcement.
Classes include written walkthroughs on everything we cover so you can keep practicing at home.
Classes will take place March 1st at Heritage Square Park in the Village of Arroyo Grande.

Puppy Socialization (12 weeks – 6 months): $50 per class
Date: March 1st
Time: 9 am-10 am
Give your pup the best start with solid social skills, confidence-building, recall, and how to curb those well-meaning (but problematic) puppy behaviors. Also, we’ll play a game where I try to steal your dog. Don’t worry—I’ve only won 188 times so far. You’ll be fine.
Skills for Adolescent Dogs (6 months – 1 year): $50 per class
Date: March 1st
Time: 11 am-12 pm
Teenage dogs are a lot, and that’s okay. We’ll talk motivation, impulse control, and why “Yes” is more powerful than “No.” Plus, bring your A-game for “Who Do You Love?”, because I won’t go easy on you.
Adult Dog Manners (1 - 100 years): $50 per class
Date: March 1st
Time: 1 pm-2 pm
Whether your dog is learning new skills or just needs a refresher, we’ll focus on foundation behaviors, refining what they already know, and making training a thing they actually want to do.
Small Dog Social Hour (25 pounds and under, 1 - 100 years): $50 per class
Date: March 1st
Time: 3 pm-4 pm
Little dogs deserve good social lives too! Learn to read body language, pair the right play partners, and help your pup navigate dog-to-dog interactions without the chaos. We will also be doing some basic manners training.
